The Kellys at Wharepapa Station
Mitch and Megan Kelly both grew up in town, with Mitch transitioning into shepherding in 2009. From there alongside wife Megan, they have grown through various sheep and beef roles throughout the Wairarapa. When the opportunity came up in 2020 for us to lease Wharepapa Station, the coastal property Mitch was currently managing, we jumped at the chance.
Wharepapa Station
Wharepapa is a 580ha sheep and cattle finishing operation, bounded by the rugged Cook Strait, in the South Wairarapa. With our two kids, Patrick and Mia, we take huge pride in the life we are lucky to live by the sea and the stock we raise.
